Hunter's Lodge Barn is situated in peaceful countryside, on owner's beef and sheep working farm. Midway between Marhamchurch and Poundstock. See the lambs skip and play in the spring, and the cattle graze the fields. The barn has slate and oak floors with high beams. Fully fitted kitchen with range cooker and granite worktops, American fridge freezer, plasma TV, home cinema, soft lighting, French window with view over distant countryside. Private secure garden. The bathroom has natural stone tiles, walk-in shower and whirlpool bath. Games room with pool table and dart board.
The main facilities are at Bude, including interesting shops, pubs and restaurants. Leisure activities include rowing on the historic canal, cycling on the disused railway track, walking along the rugged coastal path or inland valleys. Bude is fortunate to have sandy beaches, an outdoor tide-swept swimming pool on Summerleaze Beach, also an excellent indoor swimming pool. Water sports at Tamer Lakes. Historic places to visit include King Arthur's Tintagel, Port Issac, Rick Stein's restaurant at Padstow, the dramatic cliff at Hartland, the cobbled streets of Clovelly, Eden at St. Austell, the Cheesewring, Bodmin Moor. The north Cornwall coast is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
