Trehane is a traditional farmhouse offering quality Bed and Breakfast, in a quiet & spectacular rural location where you will enjoy outstanding views of the sea. Wake up to this magical sight each morning and the smell of homemade bread which entices even the sleepiest holidaymaker out of bed! Trehane belongs to the ancient Manor of Trevalga Estate, a unique hamlet set quietly between the parishes of Boscastle and Tintagel- with its own natural spring water which tastes wonderful and produces a rich lather from our handmade soaps. Trehane is well placed for the serious rambler and the casual walker and is clearly marked on the OS Explorer Map 111 ref 0911898. A warm and friendly atmosphere ensures a relaxing holiday; two spacious, warm and cosy ensuite bedrooms in which you can relax and unwind and enjoy the scenery from your window. Sarah serves excellent wholesome food, using fine local produce and bakes every morning. Sarah serves vegetarian food on request and will provide food for special requirements. Evening meals are available by arrangement, although there are some fine restaurants in the area and local inns serve good Cornish ales and dinners throughout the year. Sarah won this year the Taste of the West Bed and Breakfast Bronze Award. Trehane is an ideal base for touring Cornwall and N. Devon. The villages of Boscastle, Port Isaac and the legendary birthplace of King Arthur at Tintagel are only a short drive away. Further afield there are stately homes and gardens, mediaeval castles and archaeological sites. We have all the information here on activities including horseriding, several excellent challenging golf courses, seafishing and a variety of watersports. Sandy beaches nearby include Crackington Haven, Bossiney Cove and Trebarwith Strand. Many guests come back again and again- they just don't want to leave!
