Rose Farm is a small working farm in the little hamlet of Chyanhal (which means 'place by the moors' in Cornish) close to the picturesque fishing villages of Mousehole & Newlyn. We are just seven miles from Land's End and not far from the famous open-air Minack Theatre, on the cliffs at Porthcurno. The 250-year-old granite farmhouse is very cosy with pretty en suite rooms. Adjacent to the farmhouse is a 'barn room' with a romantic antique four-poster bed, which makes an ideal honeymoon suite (first or second)! We have all manner of animals, from pedigree Simmental cattle to pot-bellied pigs. Explore the wild and mystic ancient sites of West Penwith and in winter, walk on empty beaches, fill your lungs with fresh air and come back to a comfortable country farmhouse with a roaring fire and a cup of tea – how can you resist the temptation?
