Kerris Farm

Enjoy a slower pace of life with a Cornish family who have been welcoming visitors to Kerris since 1968. Sue and Geoffrey offer you superb accommodation at Kerris that you will want to come back to. Our spacious farmhouse, built in the mid 19th Century has a southerly aspect, enjoying unspoilt views across the fields to the woods beyond. We have three very spacious rooms to let. The Garden room has a king size and a single bed, whilst The Trevelloe room has a king size bed with comfortable arm chairs to relax and enjoy the view from the window or watch the TV. Both of these rooms are en- suite. The Lamorna room has a double bed and enjoys a splended rural view. This room uses the bathroom along the landing. All three rooms have colour TV's, refreshment trays and central heating. If you wish to bring children who are happy to have a seperate room, a twin bedded room is available. This room shares a bathroom. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden with its Victorian 'Ha Ha', grass bank, and the fields where sometimes you might see the cows grazing. We endeavour to use fresh local produce whenever possible. You can walk the footpaths across the fields and down into the wooded valley. Here you will find beautiful wild flowers from March onwards including primroses,blue bells and rhodedendrons. Plan your day using the many maps, books and leaflets available, or tap into our local knowledge to discover the delights of West Cornwall. An ideal base for visiting Land's End, St Ives, the Minack Theatre or St Michael's Mount. We are situated 2.5 miles inland from Mousehole, a quaint little fishing village with plenty of restaurants and pubs for eating out.
